Terms of Service

Finance tracks the investments you record, works out holdings, costs, gains and risk, and offers AI features that explain your portfolio. It doesn't connect to your broker or bank, can't place trades or move money, and only knows what you enter or import.

Finance provides information and educational analysis about your own records. It is not investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and we are not a registered adviser or dealer. Nothing in the app, including what the AI writes, is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

Decisions about your money are yours. Consider your whole situation, and talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

• Figures are only as accurate as the transactions you enter.
• Prices come from third-party providers at the end of each trading day, may be delayed or wrong, and are not suitable for trading.
• Exchange rates, stock splits, fund details and news come from outside sources and can be incomplete or mistaken.
• AI answers can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything important against the figures in the app and the original sources.

You must be at least 18. Keep your password safe, use two-step sign-in, and tell us at [privacy@your-domain] if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Please don't:

• use the service for anyone else's accounts without their permission, or for anything unlawful;
• try to get around usage limits, run the AI by script or for purposes unrelated to your portfolio, or resell access;
• scrape, copy or redistribute market data shown in the app;
• probe, disrupt or try to break into the service, or upload anything harmful.

We may limit or suspend accounts that do, and we monitor usage to keep the service safe and fair.

What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.

If a plan has a price, it's shown before you subscribe, along with what it includes. We'll give you notice before any change to what you pay. AI features may have monthly usage limits.

We work to keep Finance available and your data safe, but we provide the service “as is” and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut the service down, we'll give you reasonable notice to export your data.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for investment losses or decisions made using the service, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that can't be limited, including in Quebec.

You can stop using Finance and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws where you live. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll tell you before the change takes effect. Questions: [privacy@your-domain].
